Golden Globe winner Drew Barrymore completely denies rumours that she is engaged to her on-off boyfriend Justin Long. She insists that the fabrication is “ridiculous”.

The 34-year-old stated clearly: "I am not engaged. That is just a rumour - again. It is ridiculous. Anything goes nowadays and everything is written even if it is not true so it is really hard to weed out the truth. I keep telling the truth about what's happening with me but that is boring to people.”

She added: “They have more fun making stuff up. But I'm not angry - there are worst things to be said. It's not a mean lie. I can't pay attention to any of that stuff there is too much more stuff to worry about..."
