One of the more significant moments at the 2010 Grammy Awards was when Michael Jackson’s children, Prince Michael and Paris, took the stage to accept the lifetime achievement award on their late father’s behalf.
Their presence and composure once again shows us what an outstanding father Michael was to them. 12-year-old Prince and 11-year-old Paris wore matching black suits and red arm bands and red stripes on their pants as a tribute to their pop-icon-dad.
This was their first public appearance since Michael Jackson’s memorial. Prince said: “First of all, we’d like to thank God for watching over us these seven months and our grandma and grandpa for their love and support...Our father was always concerned about the planet and humanity through all his hard work and dedication he has helped through many charities and donated to all of them. Through all his songs, his message was simple: love. We will continue to spread his message and help the world.”
Paris kept her message short and sweet: “Daddy was supposed to be here. Daddy was going to perform this year but couldn’t. Thank you, we love you daddy.”

Jennifer Hudson, Usher, Smokey Robinson, Carrie Underwood and Celine Dion united to pay tribute to the King of Pop. It was a 3D tribute and you can see the audience in cute red and green specs.
