The official cause of death of fallen Fast & Furious actor Paul Walker, who died last Saturday when the the car he was riding in crashed into a pole and burst into flames, has been revealed yesterday. According to CNN, the 40-year-old actor, who was in the passenger side of the Porsche Carrera GT, died of a combination of “traumatic and thermal injuries”. This means that the impact of the crash did not solely kill the star, but the collision combined with the resulting fire ultimately ended his life
Jayoncé - Jay Z & Beyoncé, LOL – have gone vegan, yo. Well, for 22 days at least. The rapper has written a note on his blog saying that he and his wife are challenging themselves to go completely vegan – to those who don’t know, a vegan lifestyle means cutting out all foods that come from animals (yes, that includes milk and eggs).
Why, you ask?
‘Tis the season to be
jollybizarre, according to The Kardashians at least. The much anticipated annual Kardashian Christmas card has been unveiled, and it is just like what you would expect from the famous reality family – OTT glamourous, and in this case, almost circus-like.
Our favourite royal Kate Middleton debuted a new glossy, deep brown hair colour at her recent public appearance at a SportsAid Annual Dinner. Although her hairstyle was pretty much the same, the dark colour really freshened up her entire look and gave her face a youthful glow.
With a heavy heart, we’re reporting that actor Paul Walker, best known for playing Brian O’Connor in the Fast & Furious film franchise, died in a fiery crash in Santa Clarita, California just earlier today, first reported by TMZ. According to their sources, Paul was there for a car show to support the Philippines typhoon relief effort when the driver of his Porsche GT somehow lost control, causing the car to slam into a tree and burst into flames… Both Paul and the still unnamed passenger were killed
We were hoping it’s just another (really mean) internet hoax, but even Paul Walker’s official Twitter and Facebook pages have confirmed the news. Paul was only 40 years old.

This is reportedly the Porsche Paul’s friend was driving….
Stay tuned as we keep you updated with the latest development here.
Updated: The driver in the fatal crash that killed Paul has reportedly been identified as 38-years-old Roger Rodas. Roger was the CEO of automotive company Always Evolving, and the pair was in his 2005 Porsche Carrera GT when he lost control of the car and struck a tree. Roger was a former race car driver.
This is a photo of Paul and Roger together in 2010, posted by Paul on his Facebook page.
It is not yet known that what caused the driver to lose control, but authorities have said speed appears to have played a major factor.
According to TMZ, Paul and Roger’s bodies were burned so badly in the crash that they’re currently unidentifiable and their autopsies will be delayed until later this week.
RIP, Paul and Roger
We set out for Urbanscapes Day Two, warily eyeing the cloudy skies and praying hard it would not rain. The skies heeded what must have been hundreds of similar prayers, only letting up with a light drizzle. We were blessed with sunny skies for the rest of the day (phew!).
For festival-goers, the weekend most likely went by in a flurry spent at Urbanscapes 2013. Sore muscles, hoarse voices and sunburn aside, the much-awaited event was hands down one of the best weekends of the year, thanks to a myriad of activities and awesome international acts ranging from music, arts, design, film and creative channels. Held across the the sprawling Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang (MAEPS), no one left the festival empty-handed, be it a stash of bargain shopping, blooming friendships, or a new-found interest borne from the experience.
The American Music Awards had just closed its curtains not too long ago; while it is considerably tamer than the other award shows this year (MTV VMAs, anyone?), it was nevertheless a memorable event with highlights we think worth mentioning right here. Check it out!
